History

Prototyp Ltd was founded in 1996 in Sofia, Bulgaria. It's first project was a patented glazing system for the "Auto Benda showroom" in Vienna. Since then Prototyp Ltd has specialized in custom made products for the construcion industry.

In 2003 Prototyp Ltd extended its activities to engineering of glass-steel-aluminum structures. Today Prototyp's Engineering department is among the largest providers of cladding and curtain wall engineering services in Europe.

In 2006, Prototyp Ltd started its own workshop for specialized mechanical constructions. In the same year the Austrian company GIG  Fassadenbau GmbH acquired shares in Prototyp Ltd. GIG Fassadenbau GmbH  ( www.gig.at ) is part of the Austiran Internorm group of Companies  ( www.internorm.at ) –    Euprope's lagrest window manuf acturer.

In 2007 Prototyp Ltd acquired the “VAT”-Vladimir Tomov commercial enterprise resulting in the establishment of “Prototyp-Instalations”-Ltd.
